Internal medicine consults: We offer advanced telemedicine referrals to internal medicine specialists (and other specialists) who can visualize our results from our own in house laboratory, ultrasounds, endoscopic procedures (and other diagnostic evaluations) to helps us with the diagnosis of more complicated cases as well as the latest treatment options.
Imaging Services: Our on-site, modern X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders. We have a high frequency stationary unit as well as a portable unit that is used specifically for teeth. We also provide Ultrasound services and endoscopy studies.
Electrocardiography Services: We provide ECG services on-site as well as consultations with cardiology specialists.
Dentistry: Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, dental X-rays, tooth extractions and minor oral surgery.
Laboratory: Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis, coagulation studies and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations such as allergy testing.

Pharmacy: We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick control products and heart worm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet. We also carry a full line of prescription diets. We use the on line veterinary pharmacy VetCentric to accommodate those who prefer to order on line products.
Dietary Counseling: We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance. We carry Purina Specialty diets, IVD specialty diets, Waltham foods, and Hills products.
Behavioral Counseling: We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as separation anxiety, excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression.
Boarding: We provide pet boarding as a service to our clients. All boarders receive personal attention from our caring staff. Pets may be dropped off and picked up during regular business hours Sunday through Saturday. Although our kennel is indoor, we do walk dogs every 3 hours from 6 am until 11 pm every day. We have staff present to monitor pets and provide the extra attention they may need while their owner is away. Our kennels are large and owners can bring whatever their pet needs to be comfortable during their stay.
Bathing: Routine and therapeutic bathing services are available seven days a week.
Drop off Services: We provide a convenient drop off service to help you with your busy schedule. Pets can be admitted anytime during our business hours. We can provide the service you need while you are at work, shopping or taking time to relax.
Emergency Services: We provide emergency services for both small and large animals. Please call first to arrange an emergency visit as our Veterinary staff are not required to stay at the hospital if they are not needed. Calling first will avoid unnecessary delays in the care of your pet.
Large Animal Services: Dr. Preston Thornton provides routine and emergency care for large herds and individual farm animals including cattle, horses, goats, sheep, llamas and alpacas.
